"There is no such thing as a baby. There is a baby and someone" -D.W. Winnicot
Connected Beginnings provides relationship-based psychotherapy for young children and their families, with a focus on the importance of early development, attachment, and emotional regulation. My work is grounded in understanding each child within the context of their relationships and supporting parents as an essential part of the change process. Together, we work to gain insight into your child as an individual and build practical strategies that align with your family's values.

Who I Work With
I primarily work with children ages 2-8 and their caregivers. I have extensive specialized training to support children who have experienced trauma and children who are neurodivergent.

Approach
My work is not behavioral or compliance-based. Rather than targeting behaviors in isolation, I focus on understanding the underlying needs driving them. Through a relationship-based approach, I support children's emotional development, regulation, and sense of security.

Partners
Some children benefit from a broader team of support. I collaborate with trusted professionals in areas such as occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, neuropsychology, and psychiatry. Sharing space with Our Village Occupational Therapy allows for ease of collaboration to support children holistically, especially when sensory and regulation needs are part of the picture.
